Recently seen two applications were withdrawn and Tweetie can not be downloaded again from the Apple Application Store. This is done to bring the new official Twitter application for the iPhone. Since the initial appearance, Tweetie 2 has become the best Twitter application for the iPhone, to the point of buying the company behind Twitter, Atebits in April.
Apple has also seen release on Twitter for the iPhone Application Store the new version 3.0, previously Tweetie 2 stuck in version 2.0. Twitter latest version has many additions and smaller file size, 2.4 MB (Tweetie 2, 2.8 MB).
Twitter is planning to provide a formal application for mobile users at large, before they have launched a Twitter for Blackberry and Twitter for the iPhone.
