3G iPad 300 Thousand Units Sold When Launching


An analyst from Piper Jaffray named Gene Munster estimates that there is 300 thousand units have been sold iPad 3G during its launch weekend. Figures are based on several estimates made.

Munster first count the number of queues at Apple stores in New York and a shop in Minneapolis. These results are then compared with the count rate when the launch iPad wifi some time ago. This figure is then processed further and obtained iPad sales figures of 300 thousand, the same as the first sales figures iPad.

In addition, information has been obtained from 50 store (Apple Store), there are 49 stores out of stock this 3G iPad. Truly successful product launches and waiting fans. This indicates that the iPad has succeeded in the promo or sales.
